TRAIL DO PORTO MONIZ IS A SPORT EVENT THAT MERGES LEISURE AND COMPETITION WITH BREATHTAKING LANDSCAPES, A RACE THAT YOU WILL NOT WANT TO LOSE!
A crazy descent that begins next to century old Fanal trees that takes us to the municipality center.
A course that has equal parts of beautiful and hard ( and no flat parts whatsoever!)

Three distances
There are three different courses: Trail Ultra, Trail Long and Trail Short, we want to allow you a “trip” on the beautiful green sport that is the municipality of Porto Moniz trough a diversified coursed that is mainly made by trails, levadas, forest roads and mountain acesses.
Porto Moniz
This course is held mainly in the mountains of Porto Moniz with a special highlight on Fanal, Estanquinhos and Chão da Ribeira. This race has a high level of technical difficulty due to its very steep uphill’s and fast downhills that are always surrounded by the exuberant Laurissilva Forest. All athletes will be constantly rewarded by the beautiful landscapes that the north coast of the Madeira Island has to offer.
